ELECTRONIC DR

Electronic DR has been realized in two different typologies: one US&S type and one GRS type. It’s an electronic device which associates electronic circuits with inherent fail-safe and highly reliable relays (according to Railway specs and applicable UIC norms).
Since the same characteristics of input resistance, voltage and pick-up and drop-away current of mechanical relays have been maintained, further calibrations of track circuits are no more necessary.
They are thus perfectly interchangeable to replace original relays.
Unlike the PREVIOUS ones, DR relay Tekfer needs 150Vac for inherent fail-safe CONTROL LOGIC.

INSTALLATION

Electronic DR is perfectly interchangeable with traditional DR, both as inputs and contacts lay-out and typology and as mechanical codification.
Compared with electromechanical DR, Electronic Relay DR (both GES and US&S type) needs 150Vac +10%, -15%, 50Hz ±2%.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

Electronic Relay DR does not need any periodical or preventive maintenance: protections and quality of
electronic components guarantee an extremely reliable running.
